Up for grabs are four highly sought-after, beautifully geometric Whitesloanea crassa. These are highly unique, 4-angled stapeliads native to Somalia, prized for their square profile and rock-like texture.
These have been lovingly grown from seed right here in Australia, meaning they are fully hardened to local conditions and possess strong, independent.
Currently winter dormant and have not been watered since April, which is normal for this species during the cooler months. All plants are alive and healthy, and ready to resume growth and flower when temperatures warm up.
General Cultivation Advice
Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight. If growing indoors, a north facing window is best however some shading may be necessary to prevent scorching.
Potting mix: An inorganic gritty mix consisting of either pumice, perlite, scoria or similar with some organic matter. Choose a pot slightly larger than the plant.
Water: During the growing season (Spring and Summer). Allow to dry before watering again. Keep dry during the Winter months when day and night temperatures are low.
Temperature: They prefer warmer temperatures, ranging from 21C to 32C during the day and slightly cooler nights.
