Cymbidium Little Moonbeam ‘Snowflake’ 2N
This is a very interesting primary hybrid (madidium x mastersii) that I have cloned, it is a mid to late flowerer, they are nice creamy white flowers around 40mm in size, typical for a madidium hybrid bred with another species of mastersii. When on good sized plants, spikes go upright and arch over making a wonderfull display.
On offer is a single growth plant in a 68mm sq pot approx 200mm tall. Post $16
Also available as large single growth plant bulbing up in a 125mm pot Post $25
Care Instructions
Follow these detailed care instructions to keep your Elkhorn Fern thriving:
Mounting
Elkhorn ferns are epiphytic, meaning they naturally grow attached to trees. For best results:
- Mount on wood, cork, or similar materials
- Use sphagnum moss around the roots
- Secure with fishing line or plant-safe wire until established
Watering
Proper watering is crucial:
- Soak the root ball and shield fronds thoroughly when the moss feels dry
- Allow excess water to drain completely
- Reduce watering in winter
- Mist shield fronds occasionally
Light & Positioning
Place your fern where it receives:
- Bright, indirect light
- Protection from direct sun, especially midday
- Good air circulation
