Bromeliad
Neoregelia pauciflora
Neoregelia pauciflora is a stunning, medium-sized bromeliad native to Brazil. Known for its vibrant foliage and unique flower spikes, it makes an excellent addition to gardens and indoor spaces.
Key Features:
Height: 30–60 cm
Light Requirements: Partial shade to bright, indirect light
Watering: Moderate; allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings
Flowering Season: Late spring to summer
I have two plants for sale, both displayed in 130 mm pots. The current size of each plant is approximately 19cm high × 20cm wide. You will receive one of the plants shown in the picture. The plant will be sent bare-rooted; its roots will be wrapped in sphagnum moss to keep them moist.
To ensure optimal growth, provide well-draining soil and avoid overwatering. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season for best results.
Care Instructions
Follow these detailed care instructions to keep your Elkhorn Fern thriving:
Mounting
Elkhorn ferns are epiphytic, meaning they naturally grow attached to trees. For best results:

- Secure with fishing line or plant-safe wire until established
Watering
Proper watering is crucial:
- Soak the root ball and shield fronds thoroughly when the moss feels dry
- Allow excess water to drain completely
- Reduce watering in winter
- Mist shield fronds occasionally
Light & Positioning
Place your fern where it receives:
- Bright, indirect light
- Protection from direct sun, especially midday
- Good air circulation
