The plant is ussually solitary and a globular shape, green cactus covered in white wool and hair-like white spines. It thrives in bright, sunny spots but can also handle slight shade. It requires well-draining soil with a bit of small gravel mixed in to enhance drainage. During the growing season, water the plant deeply once the soil feels dry to the touch.
