For sale is an exceptional, well-rooted offset of Copiapoa krainziana sourced from Rudolf Schulz lineage. This unique specimen stands out significantly from standard collection pieces due to its highly desirable dark epidermis and unique spination.
The plant exhibits a stunning purplish-ash to near-black body color under good light. It features dense, smoky-toned spination that is noticeably softer and darker than typical varieties. Complete with a woolly crown, this slow-growing collector's piece offers premium aesthetics and excellent provenance.
Size: ~50mm body diameter (measured excluding spines).
Plant: You will receive the exact specimen.
Light: High, direct sunlight or strong greenhouse light is essential to maintain the intense dark purple/black skin stress coloration.
Substrate/Watering: Requires an extremely gritty, mineral-heavy, well-draining soil mix. Water only when completely dry, and keep dry throughout the winter months.
