Up for sale is an exceptional Astrophytum asterias cv. Kikko measuring a healthy 65mm in diameter.
This specimen was grown by me from seed sourced directly from a premium, reputable Thai master breeder. It features incredibly sharp, multi-faceted tortoise-shell ("Kikko") tubercles and beautiful, fluffy white areoles.
Crucially, this is completely seed-grown on its own roots (never grafted). It is highly stable, robust, and an excellent investment piece for any serious cactus collector looking to add verified top-tier genetics to their collection.

Mounting
Elkhorn ferns are epiphytic, meaning they naturally grow attached to trees. For best results:
- Mount on wood, cork, or similar materials
- Use sphagnum moss around the roots
- Secure with fishing line or plant-safe wire until established
Watering
Proper watering is crucial:
- Soak the root ball and shield fronds thoroughly when the moss feels dry
- Allow excess water to drain completely
- Reduce watering in winter
- Mist shield fronds occasionally
