Alocasi Regal Shield produces giant black, velvety heart-shaped leaves that are slightly ruffled with reddish undersides. This plant will only grow to 1.2 - 1.5cm high. The actual plant is about 60cm high and growing in a 12cm pot.
Prefers shade or indirect light
Avoid keeping the soil too wet and allow the plant to dry out slightly between watering.
Liquid fertilise in warmer weather or add slow-release fertiliser to the potting mix.
